GYEON Ceramic Coating for Prospect Cars: How It Works
Think of the coating as a hard layer that bonds to your car’s factory paint. It blocks UV, resists salt and other contaminants, and makes water bead and roll off. That means bird droppings and road grime wash away more easily, the paint stays glossier for longer, and washing takes less effort.

What to Expect for Timing
Your car will be with us for 1 to 3 days, depending on the service you book. When the coating’s on, it cures indoors for 24 hours before the car is ready to collect. It keeps hardening after pickup, so leave it unwashed for the first 7 days. After that, normal washing is fine.
Swirl Marks, Scratches and What Happens First
We inspect every car before we start and tell you what the paint needs and why. A coating over swirl marks or scratches locks them in, so flaws are fixed first. Every package includes a machine polish, which lifts light marks and gets the paint ready for the coating.
If the paint needs more than a polish, we use our paint correction service before the coating goes on. You’ll know what that involves, and what it adds to the quote, before we begin.
Paint Protection Film Under the Coating
A coating protects against UV, grime and contamination, but it won’t stop a stone chip. If you want that protection too, we can fit paint protection film to high-impact areas like the bonnet, bumper and side mirrors, then coat over the top. The film and the rest of the car end up protected together.
Our Klemzig Workshop
All our work is done indoors at Unit 4, 13 Thames Avenue, Klemzig SA 5087. The lighting shows up paint flaws before we coat, and the controlled climate keeps dust, wind and weather off the finish while it sets.
