Swirl marks, scratches and oxidation make good paint look tired, and sunlight shows them up. At our Klemzig workshop, we machine-polish them out and tell you what your paint needs before we start. Quotes are free. Ring us on 0489 041 888 to book yours.
Swirl marks are the fine circular scratches you see in direct sunlight, often caused by years of washing and drying. Paint correction removes them with multi-stage machine polishing, working through the paintwork to take out swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation. Deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat may not come out completely, and we’ll tell you what’s realistic for your car. You can book it on its own or as the step before a ceramic coating.
Every car is polished indoors under specialist lighting and climate control, so dust, wind and weather can’t spoil the finish. We’re fully insured and have completed 1000+ jobs.
The number of stages depends on the severity of paint defects. We assess every vehicle under specialist lighting before recommending the appropriate stage.
Only if your paint needs it. We assess every car first and tell you whether it does. Swirl marks, scratches and other defects need to come out before the coating goes on, because a coating over them locks them in. If your car needs it, we do the correction first, then apply the coating.
It depends on your car’s size, the condition of its paint and how many stages of polishing it needs, so we quote each car individually.
The swirl marks and scratches we remove don’t come back on their own, because they’re polished out of the paint. New ones can form, though, from automatic car washes or from washing and drying with dirty towels. A ceramic coating over the corrected paint helps protect the finish.
