How Long Ceramic Coating Takes for Magill Cars
How long we have your car depends on the service you book, and it’s 1 to 3 days. The coating cures indoors for 24 hours before the car goes home with you. It keeps hardening after pickup, so skip washing for the first 7 days, then wash as you normally would.
Getting Your Magill Paint Ready for Coating g
First we check your paint and tell you what it needs and why. Swirl marks and scratches are fixed before the coating goes on, since a coating over them locks them in. Every package comes with a machine polish, which lifts light marks and preps the paint.
When the paint needs more than a polish, we do paint correction first. You’ll hear what’s involved, and what it adds to the quote, before any work starts.
Adding Film for Stone Chip Protection
Ceramic coating guards against UV, grime and contamination, but a stone chip will still get through. For that, we can fit paint protection film to the areas that take the most hits, like the bonnet, bumper and side mirrors. The coating then goes over the top, protecting the film and the rest of the paint together.
Our Klemzig Workshop
Every job is done indoors at Unit 4, 13 Thames Avenue, Klemzig SA 5087. We use specialist lighting to show up flaws in the paint before coating, and climate control keeps dust, wind and changing weather off the finish while it sets.
